Ramona does a great job of sharing her unique stories and bringing you into her life experiences. I think sometimes we all wonder if we are living our own fictional novel and made me reflect on how events in my own life were very different from the fairytale and romance novel that I had dreamt about. The author's self-reflective moments, humor in her heartache and Warrior Wisdom is a benefit to any person searching for the best version of themselves.

Praise From Readers

“What would happen if your inner voice was made external and was in book form? Well, Ramona has done just that in her debut novel Fairytales and Street Fights. Her story will guide you through the challenges and decisions we all face, especially the wrong ones, and lead you down a path of self-discovery, along with the lessons we reflect on years later. With twists and turns along the way, you will follow Ramona through love, heartbreak, and grit as she finds her true path, professionally and personally.

If you are alarmed by the title, you shouldn’t be! This delicious story will have you realizing that other people, including adults, due stupid stuff just like you! We are all imperfect people, doing the best we can in the world. I instantly connected with the main character and her journey, through the wins, and the failures of life. The story reminded me that addiction comes in many forms, and that there is light at the end of the tunnel, if you are willing to go within first. With sass and humor, you will root for, and want to smack the hero along the way. I finished this book, while reflecting on my journey, in one short week. By the end of the book, I knew I was not alone in this world of struggle and achievements. This is a must-read for those overcoming bad decisions and wondering if there is hope on the other side."

The Warrior wisdom at the end of each chapter truly resonated with me. One segment, in particular, struck a chord, prompting me to rediscover the lost art of laughter and integrate it into my daily routine. This simple yet transformative shift has served as a helpful catalyst for igniting peace in my life.

I have long been an admirer of Ramona. She was the coolest cousin I had. Being a few years older than me, she was the epitome of what I thought I wanted to be. Beautiful, funny, put together, and had the world in the palm of her hand. Fairy Tales and Street Fights has been eye opening to say the least! Behind the façade of smiles, big hair, perfect nails and a drop dead georgous body, was that of an insecure girl who struggled her whole life feeling like she didn’t fit in she wasn’t good enough, wasn’t pretty enough, wasn’t loved enough. From addiction to divorce, successful business owner to bankruptcy, she hid what was really going on. I would have never imagined that someone could hide their true life so well. Ramon’s style of writing is refreshing and fun to read. I found myself binge reading just to see what else could possibly go wrong (or right) in this messed up, fun loving, sometimes maniacal, awesome woman’s life. If you ever feel like the grass is greener think about what you don’t see. Most people are probably hanging on by a thread and it is fraying. I still love and look up to my amazing cousin but feel like now I understand her better and my love for her has only grown. I am honored she asked me to write this and sincerely blessed to call her my cousin.
